Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public broad access to court records through MyCase, courthouse access, and written public-record requests. The hard part is figuring out which Owen County office holds the file you want. The Clerk of the Circuit Court maintains county-level court records, Circuit Court I handles criminal, traffic, juvenile, probate, and adoption matters, and Circuit Court II handles civil, family, small-claims, and protective-order matters. The Sheriff's Office manages jail, bond, warrant-service, and sheriff-record questions at the Security Center. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.
